Our artisans can make that first impression of your home a distinctive one. In your interior spaces, they can create doors that will enhance the transition from one room to another.
Doors and gates can be fabricated in a full range of metals; for example, bronze, copper and steel. Accent details such as ornamental elements and decorative inserts for French Doors are also available. Entryways and Doors and their ornamentation can also be fabricated in a full range of styles; for example, Traditional and Contemporary Designs.
Patina Application is a specialty at our studio, and a wide selection of surface treatments is available, including gold and silver leaf.
In addition, Great Lakes Art Studio offers its in-house restoration services for Entryways and Doors. The artisans can accurately restore patinas or replace missing ornamental elements and have them re-sculpted, cast, and welded-all the while maintaining visual consistency. A recent project included a restoration of a Louis Sullivan Door to its original beauty.
Visitors are welcome to use our Resource Center to select architectural components for their door or the elements can be fabricated in-house.
